Considering we spend a good portion of our lives sleeping, it’s not difficult to see why a comfortable mattress plays an important role in the quality of sleep we experience.
We all know the dreaded feeling of not being able to fall asleep. Your body feels tired, you’ve been staring at the ceiling for hours, but your mind is running in circles.
RANA Respiratory Care Group, Provincial Sleep Group and Provincial Home Oxygen have teamed up under a new name, Careica Health.
Chances are you’re completely oblivious to your own snoring, but we promise the person you share a bed with (or even the people you share a house or apartment with) know just how much you snore and how loud.
Quality sleep restores the body; how you feel when you’re awake is largely dependent upon how you sleep. From snoring to sleep positions many factors impact the quality of your sleep. Most people think they can only suffer from sleep deprivation by not sleeping at all, but sleep deficiencies (read: poor quality sleep) can negatively impact how you think, react, work, learn, and communicate in addition to increasing your risk for health conditions.
The first year of our RANA Cares initiative closed out at 631 total staff volunteer hours and a corporate giving fund of $20,000. The RANA Cares committee awarded the donation to three outstanding organizations across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba—each to receive a third of the $20,000 fund.
